We also have an eye on the bigger (and smaller) renewable energy picture:
We’re planning projects that will generate energy for delivery to the National Grid. This includes proposals for community-based windparks, each comprising just two or three turbines, based on the successful ‘Dancing Ladies of Gigha’ scheme.
This manageable scale of wind energy will try to address concerns about visual impact, while generating significant energy for the National Grid.
Some of our other projects are pushing the boundaries on hydrogen storage and production; see hydrogen economy.
We’re also looking forward to the next generation of current technologies. Scientific research into nano-technology is soon expected to increase efficiencies of systems such as photovoltaics (PVs).
As installers of solar technologies, we’re keen to make use of nano-technology, once it’s available, to offer enhanced new-generation systems as an energy solution.
